In 2022, we designed new curriculum for the program based on our new three-year strategic plan. Each semester we recruit up to three paid Design Mentors* who help design and facilitate workshop sessions each week. If you are interested in becoming a design mentor apply below. If you are interested in becoming a speaker or facilitator please email us.

Events

Designrva: An Annual community day

DesignRVA is a one-of-a-kind free event that introduces children ages 8-14 to the design of our area, while informing them how their voices can be a part of the planning, creation, and improvement of the places where they live, work, and play. DesignRVA takes place annually during the spring.

Whether you are a team or an individual, DesignRVA provides an opportunity for you to give back to your community.
