Design Session Volunteer Form
Volunteers demonstrate qualifications in the planning and design field and offer conceptual guidance for community-initiated projects on a volunteer basis. Before enlisting volunteers for a community project, Storefront conducts an interview with the project applicant to discuss the impetus of the project, the degree of community input needed, and the scope, budget, and timeline.
Storefront assigns volunteers to projects according to availability, and compatibility. Storefront will ensure that the volunteers have access to project information, including the original request. Volunteers represent Storefront and agree to refrain from solicitation of clients for private services before and during the project begins.
Before applying, you're encouraged to read the Session Designer Agreement and Design Session Procedure. Depending on the volume of active projects, Storefront will follow-up with you after to schedule an orientation.
Thank you for your interest in connecting more Richmonders with design resources!
